This last week we got three good wet storms though our area so that by last weekend our river was forcasted to rise above flood level! Sandbags, closed streets and bridges it was crazy! Lucky for us the tale end of the third storm turned super cold so that the snow level dropped considerably. That lessened the amount of water running right into the river and so it got right up to but not over flood level, thank goodness! But is was still WAY higher than normal so of course as soon as the rain stopped and the skies cleared we were out the door! And it was high and fast! The picnic tables we sit at are underwater! But we had a nice Sunday evening walk!
