It is because it's today, December 19th.

Most little girls do not grow up thinking gosh an airport runway is really romantic, but 13 years ago today the dirt road at the end of the Pittsburgh International Airport was.

Because Dan purposed.

(I said yes.)

On a whim...

we splashed at the beach...

our toes needed escape...

and our minds too...

some even needed to escape their clothes...

we left fulfilled, but (always) wanting more...

the treasures brought home weren't only in our hands...
