I know this may sound silly but I have always wanted to be a knitter. I am really enjoying the rhythm and peace I find in it. I'm not pro at reading patterns and there are LOTS of stitches that I can not even comprehend... yet (I hope)! But I find it completely amazing to take some yarn and make something that my family can use.
I'll try not to post too much knitting but OMGosh it is addicting!
I've even found RALVERY...

Not silly! I always have too. I lived with my aunt Helen for a year while going to UConn and she was the BEST knitter. We used to knit all the time and she would just crack up at how horrible I was! I really was!!! But I still have the dream!
ReplyDeleteMy VTer showed me and gave me yarn and the pattern for the dish cloths and then I have been watching youtube videos when I have Q's... I think maybe my downfall will be my inability to learn a second language (aka: reading patterns. I can't even read music) and my aversion to math.
ReplyDeleteYou're so awesome! Well on your way to becoming a domestic goddess.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha!! Cherish I think my housekeeping skills would have to sky rocket before I could claim that title! I am abismal at that (good thing Dan's great at it!!)!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, you did find ravelry. I put it on my earlier comment. Knitting is so addicting but I have been a knitting for a long time and still get frustrated with the gauge, yarn, knitting needle size. What is just as addicting is spinning!!
