Well we decided that today was a good enough day as any to teach our children about letting our voice be heard! So we took them to a protest/rally! :)
We headed up to our state capital, we had a beautiful day to enjoy!
When we first started explaining to the kids what we where going to do, they were afraid we were not going to drink tea anymore! :) We have been studding the American Revolution and the original Boston Tea Party! :)
Here is Riley with his sign! :) It has been a while since I made protest signs but we had fun doing it together! :)
Fern, well she survived because we took the stroller and pretzels to munch on! :)
There were plenty of great signs to look at and tons of flags!!
Riley enjoyed waving his sign and clapping along with us!

Jake's said, "Revolution is brewing". You can see Riley's, Fern's and Dan's I can't remeber off the top of my head so I'll get to those! :)
Oh, I just heard on the news that they are saying there were more than 3,000 protestors at the capital yesterday. Dan is going to bring home the Hartford Courant, we'll see what that says! :)
