Leili's Blessing!

In our Church we bless babies, so today Dan was able to bless Leili at church! Here is our family picture from today!

Here are the men who stood in the circle with Dan (minus the bishop, he is too hard to chase down!)!! Grandpa H., Dan and Leili, Chris K., & Chris E.! The blessing Dan gave her was beautiful, I was able to record it with a friends tape recorder so that I can write it all down for Leili to have when she grows up.

Grandma and Grandpa H. were able to come out for the weekend!

And then the photo shoot began! :) Sorry she was just too cute to stop!

This is a dress my mom made to sell in a boutique when I was in high school, but I loved it and it left with me! :) It was perfect for Leili!

Have have QUITE a few more! :) But I'll leave it at that!

Fern also got a new dress, Grandma J. made her this fancy dress to wear when Leili wore hers! Fern did her hair this morning. :)

Well I have not been posting much and I am just not too wordy ether. But I am tired and busy! :) We are enjoying the last bit of summer, and dodging hurricanes! I hope to be up and functioning (mentally, physically, emotionally) before too long! So stay tuned!!

P.S. Sarah and family were the ones who guessed the closest on when Leili would arrive so they received some favorite cookies of ours that they ate right up! :)

BIG NEWS!

Well as many of you know Dan was told his job would be gone as of the end of June, this caused a little stress in our lives. :) Well he heard this last week that he indeed does still have a job and that job will be staying around! We are so very thankful for everyone's thoughts and prayers! Another of our stresses was that our van died...again, and thinking Dan would not have a job we could do nothing about it. But after hearing he would have a job we found a new (to us) van to buy! We picked it up today and are so happy to have a car that our whole family fits in again! After 3 months of having just my old honda civic (and borrowing, and asking for rides), I almost don't even care that we have a car payment (almost), for the first time ever!
And just to make you smile, and because both of my girls are so cute here is Leili smiling and Fern just being Fern! :)
